  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I need a stock shot from an Epic Shooter in a US city

is this the right area on this forum to ask? I had a look at the rules of conduct and it didn't say you couldn't ask, so please correct me if this is not appropriate before I go ahead and elaborate on my request. Cheers.
 
Looks right to me. What kind of shot do you need?
 
I have seen similar requests. Of course, I am not a moderator :)

If I had my Epic I would be PM'g you. On the other hand, I have a friend here in Sacramento with one I can borrow... :) I am close to San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, San Jose....
 
only being vague until someone said don't post here. So here goes: I'm after a 4 sec shot - touristy iconic location such as the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building NY, Universal Studios CA, Golden Gate Bridge SF etc etc. No talent require in the shot, Ideally originated on an Epic framed for 2:1 aspec ratio would be great, after native .r3d to intercut with footage I am currently filming. Happy to look at any shot suggestion and would like a cost to use as stock.
 
I have thousands of stock shots, most of them are Red. Also have a lot of DSLR time lapse. Which is natively very high quality, often shot above 4K in RAW. (not DSLR video)

Some that come to mind are:

Times Square
Chicago
Las Vegas strip
Central Park
South Beach (Epic)
D.C.
 
it's about values people share.. it's in a sequence of shots demonstrating ...local, state, national and international... voicer over "around the world".
Looking for a composition of an obvious iconic destination that's possibly from an angle that's not your typical touristy shot, but you can still tell very quickly that is a (in our case) foreign destination
 
I'm often in NYC with an Epic. Let me know when you want to pull the trigger and I'll shoot it! Been shooting stock footage for 4+ years too. Lots of stuff shot on Red One too.
 
Just got my EPIC. Live in SF. Plan to shoot some stock shots anyway.

I had a great experience asking the same thing in RED USER..

I siad, who wants to make a quick $1000, I need a good shot of a Trolley car in SAN fran... Bang I had 10 guys PM me... the shot as done the next day by the person with the best reel, money was in his bank 24 hours later...

Lovely way to work.

I'm near San Francisco and have access to a few, what kind of shot do you need?
