When I first saw Phil's video, Downtown Los Angeles - North By Northwest, the first thing that came to my mind was that it felt very much like a film trailer. Fast forward two years and I actually made one from it. The voices are from various people I follow on Clash (the video sharing social network that's the spiritual successor to Vine). The film title eventually came to me while listening to the audio track a few times.
From The Land Of Blood And Vine. A motion picture so epic, there is no script that can contain it.
What Dune is to science fiction, this film is to drama. The movie posters are all double width, the soundtrack is only available on SACD, and the cast is so prestigious that merely mentioning their names would lead to audible gasps. It's a film with an overwhelming storyline that you'll only begin to understand after the third viewing. It's shot completely on 65mm and can be seen only via 70mm prints or 4K projection. This film will never be shown on screens narrower than 40 feet wide. The press kit contains selected clips on a 4K BluRay disc, 100 large colour prints, and a detailed history of its conception.
