  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I can't even...

I loved it! Not so much as a movie, but as the perfect example of how future action scenes could look like. Not saying that it should always be like this, but it's a nice addition.

Any yes, the sound design and mixing was terrible.

Is this in Russia? These guys love their video games. Whatever you think about this film, there is some serious work in it. The planning, the stunts, the locations, the cutting, the effects in post, a lot of hard work. Awful audio though, I agree.

I'm guessing GoPro helmet cam, talented freerunner stuntmen, and a load of preplanning and choreography?

Not keen on the casual blood letting and violence myself, but suppose it's a live action riff on first person shoot'em ups.
The logistics and stunts are impressive though!

This summed up exactly what I thought. For me it became VERY boring VERY quickly, the only bit that made me perk up was the decaying military aircraft which made me go "ooh that's interesting" for a moment. Mostly I found it to be even more boring than some of the car chase/ fighting things in the Matrix sequals. I thought it must be leading somewhere, but it didn't really.

Liked the creative use of the go-pro to give a computer game feel tho.

...

"Gamer" was sort of like that. Worked well, but not sure I'd want to watch a whole movie in that mode!
