The Output Folder in RCX-PRO 7.17777 (and several previous versions) will allow me to set it but will never remember where I set it to or put my renders in the correct place. They default back to another location and usually render to that location. But never where I want them. Is anyone else having this problem? Any ideas?

I haven't seen this myself, but I am not set up that way. I set mine to get prompted for each batch and I then navigate to be sure I know where they're going.

You have to edit the export preset. You can set the export preset to ask you every time, but that seems like a PIA to me. I'd rather edit the output location once for the project.

I am editing the export preset. Same way I've been doing it for a couple of years. It just doesn't work anymore.

Can you turn on verbose logging, recreate the preset and render, and then email a report (help->save report) and details to redcinex at red dot com.
Thanks.

Hi Justin,

I've just tried in both Mac and Windows -- no issues. In addition to what Deanan has asked for, can you also include a short description of the steps you are taking when setting up your preset?
Also has anything recently changed with your system?

Cheers,
David
