back closer to topic, and just to add in a little. To say ARRI isn't capable, or is capable is still speculation. But the fact that even Panavision now, another absolute staple in the industry is having financial troubles and their r&d departments not really panning out, who's the say Arri isn't heading the same way?

It is an absolute war, and it is survival of the fittest. We honor those that got us here, but we stick to what's going to be be most relevant, and the absolute best we can have. Am I gonna choose an Alexa or a 5d?

There's no need for attacking Arri and making guesses about their business model. Nor calling a new camera model a "stripped down" version of previous cameras.
