  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

So I bought a RPP 300mm and a RPZ 17-50mm. Right of the bat I feel these lenses look sharper than Canon L series photo lenses and also look more cinematic, I feel (I could be wrong on this). I also felt the focus ring and marks are just fine AND the bokeh is pleasant! So, I'm happy I chose these for now.

Anyway, does anyone have a comparison video that compares Canon L series still lenses with RED lenses? I'm curious to see how much resolution difference can be noticed with your eyes.
 
Congratulations! I haven't seen many tests of the Red primes, maybe you can test them yourself in the meantime, would be interesting to know?
