I am interested in buying of a Red One MX Package. I need it with maximum app. 1000 hours and full equipment.

I am from austria.

I have a Red One MX that I'm looking to sell. Almost ready to shoot package for $4,000. (+paypal fees + shipping) All you need to start shooting is a monitor and power. (V-Mount battery)

Red One MX CF
Build 32 32.0.3
Nikon Mount (currently installed)
PL Mount
Top Cheese Plate
19mm rails with handles, shoulder mount, and V-Mount battery plate (D-tap cable to connect to camera included)
320GB Red Drive + shockmounts that attach to 19mm rail
Hard Drive Cable

I don't have a "sale" picture, but only of my rig right now. Sale does not include the following that's in the picture: the monitor + arm, hot shoe adapter, pre-amp, lens, or the V-Mount battery.

Adam, you coudl get much more than that on ebay - going price is $9500. No need to sell so low, it hurst us all.

I only paid $5,745 all of those pieces of the kit that I'm selling. I want to sell it for $5,000, but I see people selling their bodies for 2-3,000 in the last few days. I want to get rid of mine quickly as well. (1 month or less).

$9,500 is mad! (tbh)

This is the breakdown of my costs when I bought it last year.

Red One MX CF (PL mount) with cheeseplate- $4,200
320GB Red Drive + 2 shockmounts + Hard Drive Cable - $525
Nikon Mount - $250
19mm rails with handles, shoulder mount, and V-Mount battery plate - $650
D-Tap to Red One MX cable - $120

Hey Adam,

Any chance you're willing to let the nikon mount, top cheese plate and rail setup with battery plate go sans camera?

I can offer $500.

Thanks,
Mark

How many hours does the camera worked ? What is included ? How old ? Are you first owner ?

what includes that package ? Also I need more Info about camera ? As I could see in web, Alan Gordon rented cameras. Does he rented this one ? Rented cameras are for me not interesting, because I won't buy a camera, which was used by many different cinematographer.

Just checked, 529 Hours, and I included what's in my package in a post above. I did not rent the camera out, but I'm not the first owner of it. That's going to be hard to find a 1st owner tbh.

To Adam: you wrote different messages! I do not know what is your price now.

I guess that's true, lol. $4,000 + PayPal fees ($116) + shipping. (Shipping from US, quick estimates to Austria is showing $200+). I can get a more exact figure for shipping soon. We can PM to work that out.

I'll PM some pics tonight of everything that I'm selling. Along with a "power up" video proving it works and it's an MX. :)

You might consider having any Red camera you purchase shipped straight the Red for evaluation before it's shipped to you.

Who cares what you paid for the kit?

I paid $2 for a very rare stamp once, and sold it for $3500 - because that's what it was worth. What if someone gave you the cam as a gift, so you paid $0. Should you sell it for free then?

$3000 = stolen, broken or there is no camera and you will get ripped off.

Look on ebay if you don't believe me about going prices.

"Going prices" on Ebay or asking prices. In my experience 9 out 0 10 RED One MX's on ebay never sell. The buy it now auctions anywhere near $9k never sell and the auctions usually end closer to $5k for a complete package.

You have to be patient on ebay. Put it up many times. Wait. It's not an iPhone. Often times there is no one looking for one.

Looking at completed listings on ebay one sees actual sales from high to low at $9620, $8300, $8100, $8000, $7950, $7850, $7400, $7250, $6500, $6400, $5800, $5750, $5495, $4200

I sold several Red One's for 3000$. All happy customers.
Not everyone is a greedy ****

Don't forget ebay takes 20% off of the selling price.
