I <3 Movies

[JeanChristophe Dupasquier]

I love movies! Guess that's the reason why most of us are doing what we do in the first place, right?

So feel free to post your favorite movies, recommendations, reasons why you think these films are great, trailers, and so on. It doesn't matter if these are short/indipendend/documentary/blockbuster/foreign or even your own movies, it just has to be good in some way, heheh

Oh, and no spoilers please!

So as I'm half indonesian, I'll kick this one off with "The Raid". This movie has some of the most intense action scenes I've seen in a long time! (Still have to watch The Raid 2 tho)

Have a nice weekend y'all!

I watched Raid Redemption to see how the Panasonic AF100 did on a feature. Quite well, I thought but watching it I found the martial arts sequences to be out of this world. It's s good movie!

[Christoffer Glans]

Everything by David Fincher. He is a master of a director and in many ways the "descendent" of Stanley Kubrick.

Christopher Nolan, mainly for his visionary stunning but grounded worlds based on complicated and fascinated ideas.

Steven Soderbergh, master of doing everything himself and his use of wide angles in The Knick is stunning.

But I have so many favorite films. I tend to speak through favorite directors rather than films.
