  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

HYPOTHERMIA rolling on MX

ELVIS (#006) shoots MX into the last week of Hypothermia principal photography. Extreme weather conditions. No back-up body. No camera issues.

I got this email & pics today from Anthony Lenzo who did the underwater work with the T-bag. Footage was shot under a frozen lake as well as a swimming pool.

Mark,

I was on the Hypothermia job last Thursday with the Compact T-Bag and ELVIS. The camera remained bone dry for the several hours that it spent underwater that day.

Best,

That's Anthony with one of his Compact T-Bags. Note the housing for the RED 5.6" LCD with the four buttons on top (still have those controls even underwater). RED with primes fits just fine, go to the big T-Bag for zooms. Anthony is the inventor of the T-Bag and an accomplished underwater cameraman.

Sorry to further hijack Mark's thread, but is it possible to use zooms with the standard T-bag with Red One? ND filters?

Yes and yes. The full-sized T-Bag can fit the RED with an 18-85 and a 17-81. Might even fit a 24-290, have not tried yet! There is an accessory stage that fits between the bag and the front port (either flat or optional dome) that can hold two 4x5.65 filters. The entire stage is fully rotatable.

Anthony came in and did a nice set of videos on the T-Bags in which I talked way too much. You can see them on our website here:

Yea, our last night is gonna be fun. It's snowing like crazy up here. The snowmobiles are fun. The footage is amazing at night. We shot extra long after the sun was gone and it still looked like day. Mysterium-X is incredible!!
