Hyperdeck Shuttle 2 Now support Apple ProRes 422 (HQ)

[RivaiC]

Does it accept 1080P from EPIC ? Or does it stay at 720P ?

Im guessing no point in using this for a RED ONE? because of the lowered output resolution on the viewers..
Or would you mainly use it for proxies and stuff?

For many shoots ProRes is a great format. Quick, easy, fast turnaround... and when you don't need 4K.

Really wish the Scarlet could save to ProRes natively... now we need another box bolted on our rigs for something that the Scarlet should be capable of all by itself.

Yep, but its quite expensive, there are much cheaper options from hawk woods for example, i think it was called the pc-12

Thanks Max, can't seem to find where to buy it, especially in the US. Got any link?

Is this still uncompressed recording only. If so aren't the files huge?
