how wide scarlet lens is?

[Laurent AZEMA]

One of the major problem of handy-cams is the lack of wide angle lens. It would be great Scarlet has a short focal zoom (let's say around 5mm-40mm).
Any news from the booth?:shiftyph34r:

I am excited to be on the Scarlet bandwagon and just joined this forum so I could ask the very same question!

I don't mind a fixed lens providing it goes wide enough. Has anyone heard yet how wide the Scarlet lens will go? If it hasn't been determined yet, add my vote for as wide as practical with good performance!

scarlet isn't a handy cam its more like a souped up sony f950 in a better package

It is certainly different looking.
