Hello, I'd like to share a vid on vimeo. However, can someone tell me how to get a muxed h.264 with audio and video in one file from cs5 ppro instead of one with seperate audio and video.

or has the audio to be added at a later stage in the upload, don't think so???

any help appreciated.

seems an odd question, but have always uploaded to own servers before.

Not sure if this is muxing but I always thought you could open the M4V file in quicktime and drop the aac file in, remember doing something like that once,

Could be wrong though, i'm sure one of the smarter guys will chime in soon

Open both files in QuickTime. Make sure you work with QT 7, QT X doesn't work. Select your audio file, hit CMD-A to select all, hit CMD-C to copy. Switch over to your video file, set an in and out point, then hit ALT-CMD-V to insert. This should work, however I'm not sure I understand why you export audio and video seperately from Premiere - is there a reason for this?

What I usually do is export a master in PP (or whatever editor I use for a project), then convert it with Squeeze (or Compressor if you don't have Squeeze) for Vimeo. There are several presets for Vimeo / YouTube out there.

refer to the adobe documentation or vimeos guidelines.

it's pretty straightforward out of premiere... go to export>media, select quicktime format, h264, codec, aac for audio, make sure export video and export audio are checked, ensure other settings are correct and export...
