I couldn't help but laugh my ass off as I cringe, watching this video. Thanks to my DIT for sending this to me. Happy Labor Day!

Theres so many film schools, students, and artists that could have made use of that wonderful camera.

This display of narcissm, vanity, indulgence, and wanton waste (when so many are lacking in opportunity and resouces) should ideally not be celebrated.

Someone else showed me this over the weekend, and I have to admit, I got kind of upset. Its a priviledge to be successful enough to purchase this calibre camera. To see it desecrated and destroyed like this (for pleasure no less), is disheartening and demoralizing.

Nick,
I am certain these cameras were already destroyed by water damage (or something like that), prior to making this light-hearted video. If something terrible happened like this to me, I would also want to make the best of the terrible situation with a humorous video.
I would not have posted this had I known anyone wouldn't share the humor in it. I do not believe any cameras were hurt in the making of this video no would I intentionally promote such a thing.

I saw that on Facebook too. Hilarious. Pretty standard issue for cleaning and maintenance. I usually just take mine out to the beach and clean it in the shore break. Lots of water and sand in one place.

Jeffrey, no worries. Sharing this is fine!

If he didn't wash his Dragon under a tap... he could have shot the Cannon cleaning bits at higher resolution, and uploaded at better than 360p.

yea I'm assuming this camera was already bricked so he just had some fun with it
