Thanks, it's great.

What mattebox was used?

This one was a Vocas MB-450. Great matte box. We would buy more if it had the name brand recognition of Arri. The hard mattes go inside the sunshade rather than the outside. You can purchase flexible donuts or various step down rings. It has flaps on the inside top and bottom of the sunshade that act like inner-eyebrows... And, its about $1k cheaper than Arri.

I would like to second the request to do codec conversion and post workflow. RAW is amazing but as I've found from shooting stills in that format you have to know how to process it, and I, like most people I imagine, am still learning.

And again - thank you.

Fantastic! Love it... can we have it as a complete video download?? Go on.. I know you want to... :)

it's so nice to see these shot in high light...as pretty as the red.com website is, it is hard to grasp what is being displayed in the black-on-black setting.

what else would i like to see? i will second the audio demo, both using onboard and tethered to a secondary system, light and loaded, just like the rigging videos.

Wonderful job, thanks. Also, i think red should think about including something like this with every camera to help quick start every new owner. Thanks a bunch.

great job!

great job!

well produced and i learned two tricks that i did not know before i watched it.

one note on something incorrect in video #11. you mention that the entire magazine must be reformatted when switching between 2k and 4k. this not true as i have switched many times on the fly. you only need to reformat magazines when switching the frame rates under configure.

Nice job. Enjoyed them.

In this video:
http://www.wonderhowto.com/electron...-the-red-one-into-a-film-style-camera-151903/

there a monitor on a c-stand. Do any of you guys know where I can get the bracket that mounts an LCD to the baby stud on a C-stand like the one shown in the video?

I was just going to ask the same thing. It looks like it's Matthews, but I couldn't find it on their site or anywhere else I tried to look online. I found other options, but that one looks like what I want.

Great job! I'm an Aussie so now the entire world has written something positive.

HEY - Any chance of a video PodCast? I'd love to put this on my iPhone and have it everywhere I go.

Cheers,

Excellent, excellent, excellent! What a huge help. Keep them coming as these are probably the best so far in explaining the camera and the simple questions most of us have been asking. Great job guys, keep it up!

Every once in a while I get cold feet and have to ease the overwhelming sence of impending doom that seeps into my consciousness ...These simple Show & Tell helped dispell the last spell of doubt ...

We need clearity on all fronts!

Is it possible to recruit from the list of those who have recieved their cameras to each contribute with an area they can do a demonstration to collectivly post and once and for all demystify this beast?

Is that too much of a big request?

Dog Day

P.S. Much gratitude for the effort and generosity to those who took the time to share with us! THANKS.
