  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

How to upres videos

If it isn't too long, you could extract the frames and put them through Pixelmator, which has, I think, the best upsampling algorithm you can get right now.

https://www.pixelmator.com/blog/201...l-super-resolution-feature-in-pixelmator-pro/

You can't add detail but you can certainly improve low res images with the Super Resolution feature.

I didn't try it now as I wanted something which can directly convert video. Will check this out later when I have more time to convert. I guess for large prints of still images this may be of help. Will explore later.

Thanks!

It's very slow but pretty good https://topazlabs.com/video-enhance-ai/

We often use Superres(XBR) with Staxrip https://www.videohelp.com/software/StaxRip, it's opensource(ffmpeg based) and free to use.

I was looking for something which can convert video. Converting video to images frame by frame and then upresing and then recoverting is painful. So I tried Topazlabs link and it works. It is very very slow though. However, it works. Thanks Misha I owe you a beer.

Cheers,
