how to roll back to build 16 from 17?

How do I roll back to build 16 from 17? The camera doesn't recognize build 16 on the CF or SD card as an upgrade.

Try reformatting the CF card using the camera and copy the update folder to it again. That helped me on a much older build. YMMV.

Yes that is the process. And repeat again to go back to 17.

Thanks it worked this time. I am doing it because I am seeing increased noise in the blacks in 17...anybody else reporting this?..can't find a forum for 17 bugs.
