Hi I want to do exactly like on this picture . Mounting the Cineslider ontop a large manfrotto tripod head 509HD .. How ? My guess is using some sort of cheese plate but what one ? anyone else done this and know what to use ?

I usually find it better to take off the head on the tripod and mount directly on tripod.

If you really want it on the head, you generally just attach the camera plate directly on the bottom of the slider.

Unless the Cineslider doesn't have a bottom centre mount, than I'm not too sure.

I have the same CineSlider and it has a 3/8 and 1/4-20 threaded hole in the center and on each cross bar. You can either take off the tripod head completely to screw the tripod legs to the slider in place of the head (which I prefer), or you can screw the tripod plate onto the slider and then slide it into the head and lock it down. There is no cheeseplate needed, as it has threaded holes at several points on the bottom of the slider.

I typically will mount it to a set of two tripod legs only with no heads, one on each end. I find it to be much more stable than a single centered tripod. Especially with a heavier camera setup.

Hope that makes sense.

My Cineslider has thread mounts, so it's easy to mount on a tripod.

you have the Kessler Crane Pocket Dolly Philip Bloom Edition ... I have the Kessler Crane Cineslider . Cineslider takes 80 lbs .. Pocket Dolly takes about 15 lbs if I remember correctly .. still have no clue how to mount my Cineslider to a tripod head ... cheese plate seems only option

Oh hmmm. I have the parallax addition mounted to mine, so maybe that is what has the 1/4-20 and 3/8 threaded holes...

You could put a shallow nut or mini cheese plate on the top side of the holes and still use a tripod plate into the head or mount directly to the legs. Might need a longer plate screw if you’re going that route. Or take it to someone who can drill a hole and thread it for you, which is super simple.

I still recommend using a set of two smaller legs on each side for stability if you have that option. Are there threaded holes on the outer cross bars?
