I am wondering how well that would work... probably better than I imagine. Especially if you could stitch up the back leaving a hole for the cable and stitched a clear plastic on the hole for the buttons... a little rough but probably would hold most of the heat. I wonder if anyone will be making a custom version of this solution... it seems easy and possibly a perfect solution if it fit (and looked) right.
Perhaps Red should make a bad ass looking one and ship one with every EVF, and one to every current owner, as their way to "fix" the issue.
