  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

how to H.264

I just ran a test with the codec using mpeg streamclip and it did a great job, well much better than the mpeg 4 renders I was getting out of compressor anyway :0

720 X 486 SD?
Please forgive the lack of knowledge I have on the Red camera. I need advise!, I am looking to purchase a camera to do several things SD/HD. One is to produce segments in 525i 29.97 720x486 to cut into my program that airs in SD. Is it possible to shoot with the Red and output to this SD format? Of course the resolution and picture quality has drawn me to the Red, would the Red choice work or should I be looking at a camera like the PDW 700? Thank-you for your time.
