How to connect V-RAPTOR to MoVI Pro cage + use DSMC3 7" touch LCD

I'm curious how people are operating their V-RAPTORs with the MoVI Pro. Is no one using the DSMC3 monitor with it? I ask because if you have the DSMC3 7" touch LCD BASE unit connected to the top of your RAPTOR, you can't place the MoVI Pro top plate onto the top of your RED... I didn't buy a $3K monitor to not be able to use while operating on a gimbal.

With the DSMC2 bodies, we had the side pogo pins to work with. What the heck am I supposed to do with DSMC3?!? Is there an alternative way to connect my DSMC3 monitor via SDI or the USB-C somehow? Seems that this RMI cable is proprietary? I need to use this monitor as it's very bright (for outdoors) and don't want to buy yet another monitor just for gimbal use. Am I just SOL? Any solutions that don't cost $1K? LOL.

Honestly I don’t understand why RED would use that cable as the main connector. Completely dropped the ball.

I’d just get a Cine7 and the control license and use it like a normal monitor for control.

When I put my Komodo in my MoviPro, I Velcro my phone to the ring and have the RED Control app always on to be able to control.
