How to capture false colors and other display tools to something?

Is there anyway to capture the false colors or any of the display tools somehow? Even if I have to use a third party device I am just wondering if there is any workflow for this? When Epic first came out I tried looking into it then and haven't thought about it since, but now am pondering again...

You can use a recorder that records the HD-SDI signal. This will result in 1080 footage not 5k but you will see your tools such as false color, if you are interested in recording them for the purpose of demonstation.

Good to know, does any HD SDI recording system work? I have one rigged to an Avid using a blackmagic multibridge to capture it as DNXHD in PSF already at a studio near by so I am familiar with capturing that way, just never tried to see if it can capture anything other then Red Color and Gamma 3...yet

You may have to turn on something in the Brain SDI overlay menu. I haven't tried false color but image zoom certainly works.

In the monitor options, there's a "tools" checkbox that needs to be checked for your particular output.
