How to apply 1.85 frame guide in Apple Color ?

Ive always use the FCP-CRIMSON-REDCINE workflow for project during offline@online. I shoot 4K 2:1 with frame guide as reference (1.85, 16x9) that appear in Redcine and that way i can set the proper cropping for final output.

I want to try the FCP(Wrapped R3D) @ APPLE COLOR from a project shot in 4K 2:1 with 1.85 frame guide and wandering how to apply the cropping as in Redcine, but in Apple color for proper cropping output in 1080.

Just put in the project settings tab - custom: 2048 1107, and then you get your croped 1:1.85. you can still reframe in the geometry room. If you are going to film ask your lab if they want it 1107 or 1108.

4096 by 1706 gives you 1 to 2.4
