Make a container to carry the two streams of S3D files (L and R) in it, with adjustable vertical and horizontal.
Also make these stereo-r3d files (.sr3d?) native with FCP, cs5, and avid with full control of the metadata, accelerated by cuda, or even openCL when it develops. You win.
If you did this, you make redundant the step of muxing with cineform (but still necessary now).
If you can have an .sr3d container with the muxed S3D image, with the left and right images separable and independently adjustible for the color disparity due to the polarizing glass, you win.
If you push this along with redrocket v2 to cope with processing 10K worth of epic images, you win.
Hands down.
