  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

How much worse would 2 raptors setup for 3d 360 with the canon dual fisheye be compared to 3 with the dual fisheye?

I ask as I'm contemplating getting 3 rf raptor x cameras versus two with one z mount raptor as when I use the three raptors for arrays I'd be using pl lenses anyways but I'm stumped for when I'd want to do 3d 360, how much better would a third raptor be in a 360 array be compared to two? I know there would be roughly 106 million pixels with three compared to 70 million with two (before getting into loss when stitching) but even for apple vision pro, would 70 million pixels be enough for 3d 360?
