How many Scarlet cameras a month

Tyler I'm not saying people shouldn't be excited. But there's a lot written on this forum that goes a bit beyond that. I'm not sure there's really any denying that. I've seen people like Roger Deacons talk about it, and it does two things which I think do not serve Red, or customers well. First, as I stated before in different words, it creates an atmosphere akin to oil speculating, where the fervor for a product is so beyond rational, that it over inflates the value, allowing those who control it to dictate the terms of its sale beyond actual worth. In this case I think that translates to a lesser degree price, and to a greater degree the manner in which Red sells them. Because of the fervor, Red enjoys an atmosphere that permits them to accept orders and a significant amount of money for the privilege of standing in line. It leaves me wondering what pressure that puts on Red to invest more in their manufacturing, if they believe most of you count yourselves lucky to be waiting.
The way the fan-boyism may harm Red a little, is that it serves to elevate a product like Alexa firmly into a realm perhaps deemed a little more serious or "professional", where there's less juvenile pandering. Not because the product is superior (which in some ways it is, and in others not), but solely because of the culture that has been cultivated around Red's products and marketing. There's nothing wrong with being passionate about our profession or tools, but it shouldn't lead us to throw reason to the wind.
