How many people have put a deposit down on the RPP's?

You forgot a couple options...

[X] I'm a lucky SOB who reserved them @ NAB '07 and my RED # doesn't matter.

[ ] I'm RED #303, but I didn't buy my camera from RED until last month, so RED #5995 will get his primes before me.

I was just wondering about a very rough estimate. It would be nice to know that 1500 people have put an order on the primes, or if it was more like 200.

I think the first <2000 RED's are more dependent on the shipping date than past that. I would say Jeff is probably one of the very few who waited quite so long to get their RED.

Matthew, that #303 vs. #5995 was an exaggerated example. I bought my RED within 30 days of getting my notice. I've had it for a year now.

I've had my RPP's on order since NAB '07, have already confirmed my order with RED and I'm eagerly awaiting the ready to ship notice with final price including shipping. I'm hoping to have the primes within the next week or two.

Is there a current restriction on one set per body until backorders are filled?

Well me and a few others guessing 5000+ will not be a rough estimate? It would then be better if the poll system could be a count instead? Don't know if there is one or if there's any way of seeing how many that voted? Then you'll get more of an accurate figure.
