  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

How many is running firmware BETA – v3.0.6 ?

Hmmmm...I noticed this flicker during shoots on Friday and Saturday...but I'm rocking 3.0...maybe I'll try 3.0.6
 
I had an issue with it yesterday on a shoot... Had to forceupgrade to 3.0 - camera was not usable. Here's the video:

Lost my screen even without being in that menu. Tried double tapping, triple tapping waiting for about 3 minutes and got this image back. Functionality was basically out the window. Had to forceupgrade.

did u try the cable?
 
All good for me. I shot all day Friday, 4K HD @ 24fps, 2K @ 48fps using a second monitor on the HDMI out too. Everything working perfectly.
 
I had a shoot, where i was running 3.0 (Epic) , and suddenly for some reason the touch screen was locked, but i couldn't unlock it.
Then i force upgraded with 3.06 and it worked again.
But after a while, on our last scene, there were strange stripes on the LCD...very strange behaviour, even after restart.
So i will go back to 3.0 the next days and test it again.

Hmmm.
 
Thank you for this. Couldn't figure out how to upgrade the redremote. No wizard was launching. 3.0 installer did it.

The Redmote was a pain to upgrade, had to use the 3.0 installer and it seems a little less responsive. But hey, its Beta... Everything else seems fine and it is great that the histogram and goal posts match the red/purple clipping and noise indicators on the display.
