For all batteries, it seems that people are getting about 1 minute per Wh, maybe a bit less, when running at standard speeds with no HDRx.

a bit uneducated question but here goes: I understand that people are getting about 1 min per Wh recording at standard speed without HDRX. I want to know how long do batteries last when camera is turned on but is not recording. For example, most people say that single small Redvolt lasts up to 30 minutes when recording at standard speeds. But if I were to put freshly charged Redvolt into the camera, power it on, point to a subject but not press the RECORD button, how long would it last? Or it does not matter whether camera is recording or not?
