  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

How long delivery date for Red One?

Hi all, my first post here.

I have been searching for some sort of approx. time frame for how long one can expect to wait from the initial day of ordering to final delivery. Are we talking months or over a year? I'm thinking RedOne plus accessories, LCD, nikon mount, and maybe EVF if it won't delay delivery that is.

Sorry if this have been asked before, searched around but couldn't find any info.

if you order TODAY: probably June-ish

If you order after NAB: probably August or later.

nothing's confirmed though
 
But they are catching up quickly. I would say June is probably a bit optomistic, but July - October would be about right. I'm 2434 and I'll probably get mine May/June. Then I think there about 1400 or more back ordered after that. If they keep up 700 units a month, it won't take too long.
 
the june thing was something i thought i read here, but again, nothing's comfirmed so who knows. June would definitely be the EARLIEST possibility.
 
I ordered almost a year ago and I am still patiently waiting
 
Ah, that sounds really great, not as bad as I initially thought. Just saw that I missed the sticky, it was pretty much right in front of me all along, guess I need glasses. =)

Even those of us who haven't ordered...are waiting. Don't feel so bad, at least you can take solace in the thought your camera is on it's way...and you'll definitely have one before a lot of others.

lol totally. I originally had hoped I'd get it in 2007, then february of 2008, then march, then april, now may. the thought that it should be here (hopefully) in only a couple weeks is keeping me up at night! :)
 
Look at it this way... Things could be worse: you could have ordered a Ferrari, or a Riva!

That whole thing is hysterical! Sounds like having babies!

And the funniest, is that this camera kicks too ;P
 
Lets see it from the other side.
Did we really thought at the beginning of the year Red will able to deliver till SN 1500 by beginning of April.
My friends SN14XX just arrive last week and I will be hope I will get my close to the schedule.
I really hope RED is now on track with estimated schedule so all of us will be happy soon or later.
