Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)
Uh... Er... Meh... Is it anything more than a pitch film at this point? Looks like they have some serious licensing issues to overcome, if they want it to ever be more than a fan film. I didn't think the fight scene was all that great and the dialogue was painful. Is it just me, or is the real-life news footage of the Asian baby being used as a segue to explaining the Reptile character a bit on the side of bad taste? I give full marks to their lighting department and makeup artists. And I agree it looks pretty good visually, but there's little substance there. I would expect more than what this is alluding to from any future installment of the game franchise and even more so from any feature film. Sorry if I sound harsh, but that's my impression and opinion of it.
Not in Recon? Lots of stuff gets shot on RED M and MX every day. Most of it we never see or hear about on the forums, let alone in Recon.
Oh wait, there's already a thread about it here...
That is a fan film? That is an expensive spec film. Looked like a too long trailer to me. Isn't that Marg Helgenberger from CSI at the end? It looked good, seems like they gave most of the story away. If it is a pitch film it was well done. The guy eating heads was gross.
Edit:
My bad - not Marg but Jeri Ryan aka 7of9 in that Star Trek series, I should do more Google before I post. http://twitter.com/JeriLRyan
That was BA. Sure the dialog was cliche, but for this it works well. Will be interesting to see how this develops; as a kid I loved the games and would personally love to see the final film. Great concept and vision.
