How do you see the Auto Slate Slate?

Added 30 frames head and tail. Did not see a slate from camera playback. Is it visible some other way? Is it safe to use with 3.3? Is there another menu box somewere to actually turn it on?

had a 3min play with this when I 1st saw the featrue and couldn't see how to make it work... (i asssumed user error)

The feature isn't complete yet. If i remember correctly, the data gets stored as meta-data, but there is currently no way to use it.
