  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

How do you recognize an "X'd" Red One.

Can't seem to find this in the posts. Other than the ISO is their any other way to confirm that a camera has the MX Sensor?

says mysterium x below the red logo on the side plate.

also.. during boot, it says mysterium x GIANT across the entire picture. where you could normally be framing.. but you have to look at the logo for 90 seconds (please make this go away!!! or at least just move it to one of the corners and small)

It's cool is what it is.

Mine is above the RED logo on the CF reader.

Some earlier MX-RED ones do not have the Mysterium-X engraving on the CF plate. Our #271 does not have the engraving but our #1108 does. Both have been upgraded. I'm assuming that this is something they started doing after the first few hundred.

Is there anyone else with a low number who did not get the engraving?

what was the date of your upgrade? mine got upgraded on january 24th and has an engraving.

Efsic -

Not all MX cameras have the engraving. The boot screen and the clarity of footage when at a high iso should be indicative.

Good luck finishing that job.
