How do I work with proxies?

I edited a short vid with proxies (Redcode) on FCP and I'm trying to export them to the original size (4k). Sorry for asking a newb question. This is my first time working on Red. Could anyone give me a step-by-step procedure? I already installed Red support files.

Clipfinder to do a reconform and the search function here.

You don't need Clipfinder.

If you export an XML or EDL, you can import it into REDcine X, free software available on the Red website.

Point it to your original R3Ds and get it to build a new timeline.

Then you can do a 1-light grade on each clip and export as anything, including trimmed R3Ds for further grading etc.

Really powerful, really easy, really smart.

Or if you want use Color just export the xml to Color and grade the R3Ds in Color and bring them back into FCP to finish.
