*HOW do I ship "expensive" Red Equipment OUTSIDE the USA with Insurance & Tracking ?

I hope none of you find this an inappropriate question, but I figured you guys would be the best to answer it.

I am trying to sell our Red-One Camera "body", and have interested parties OUTSIDE of the USA.

The problems is, when I sell something, I always ship USPS Express Mail International so that I can track the package and insure it. But, USPS laws allow it to be insured for no more than $2,500.oo.

What do you guys do in a case like that when you are selling Red equipment which values in the $5,000.oo to $20,000.oo range to countries like Thailand, or India or Europe, etc, etc.? It MUST be insured, and you HAVE to be able to track it.

I don't have a shipping broker and don't really want one.

Learning from your experience in such matters would be most appreciated.

A friend of mine in US shipped RED MX with 2 Pelican case to me in Afghanistan via FedEx, I just got it in a week. Ask FedEx guy for more info about Insurance.
Am sure they will insure it.

Yeah I would recommend FedEx. It'll be a bit expensive but it's probably the best way.

George, you may consider UPS, too.
Also, a shipping broker would certainly offer a much better price than FedEx/UPS Retail...

FedEx is your best friend in this case. They are also *ALOT* faster than USPS Express Mail. Often, they get packages around the world in 3 business days.
