I've got a problem with my understanding of the playback function in our Scarlet Camera.

I know how to access the playback in the secondary menu, and how to play the recorded clips. What I can't figure out, even after looking through the manual for instructions I have obviously missed, is how to "go back" to the original viewfinder/monitor image so we can commence with the next shot.

The only way I have been able to get "out" of the video playback so far, is to just shut down the camera. I am sure that is not wise, nor necessary.

If someone would kindly walk me through the "video playback exit", I would be most grateful.

BTW - I am using a Side Handle for control, not a touch screen monitor. The image is viewed through the original Red EVF and a 27" computer monitor.

Thanks for your time.

There is an equivalent "Record" option in the menus (once you are in playback). Or, you can just hit the record button.

You could probably map another key to it as well, if you wanted. If you had been using the touch screen, tapping the record icon in the top left also exits playback mode (in case anyone Googles here and wants another option)
