I talking severe, bone-chilling, fling a pan of boiling water in the air and it never touches the ground cold. I understand the EVF has issues. How about the camera itself? Anyone?:

I have shot in -10F... I think others have shot colder.

I had no issues with the camera, kept fan on auto, no EVF, just an LCD.

I recall it being tested to about -25C on about Build 16. I think it has been operational colder than this. You'll go through a few batteries in low temp.

I've personally had mine down to -21F (-29C). EVF was useless, even with measures in place to warm it. Had to keep the LCD from freezing. Cables become very stiff, have to take care not to flex them more than necessary, could crack the shielding. Be careful with lenses, I rented a set of super speeds last winter for a cold shoot and they were serviced at some point with inappropriate lube and froze up tight in the cold. Didn't want to use them for fear of damaging them.

Keep the batteries warm too. When going from indoor temps into this cold, watch out for contracting metal components. This is even more important when allowing it all to warm back up. Think about rod clamps, etc.. best to loosen them before warming it all back up.

Check your back focus with major temperature adjustments like this.
