Zeb - while being light and strong - it is both extremely heat-resistant (great heat insulator) and super conductive. So while your camera would be lightweight - it would melt internally. But you would most likely short the electronics with static electricity before that happens anyway... ;o)

I would vote for a combo of 3 materials.

1) aerogel spacer to absorb vibration

2) Structural material (Graphene or one of the other monolayers)

3) On that can wick heat away (or through) structural material better than Diamond
