  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

House of Cards official trailer released

Looks very good. I sense very stylish TSN vibe, plus the british roots, plus Kate Mara reminds me a lot of her sister Rooney, I mean when I look off the screen I hear the same voice as in TGWTDT. And I have soft spot for Fincher...
 
2:1 aspect ratio! I hope more shows follow suit.
 
this looks so so so fucking good. loooove fincher. the 2:1 aspect ratio looks great. and really curious how this is gonna change TV distribution since we get all 13 eps on the same day.
 
Show looks interesting. Almost worked on this one. Looks like it would have been fun.

Some interesting choices in there in terms of color. I'll need to watch on a real TV to see the translation. Too hard to judge on a laptop screen.
 
Definitely can't wait for this to come out. Looks really good.

There was one line towards the end of the trailer that bothered me a little. Kevin Spacey says "whale" and puts too much emphasis on the H. Reminds me of Stewie from Family Guy saying Cool Whip.
 
Six episodes in, lovely images. Outdoor daylight scenes are creamy and sweet (except for couple oddball shots, where I noticed hard clipping in clouds), either they utilized HDRx very often or were nailing perfect exposure within the native range almost every time. To me it looks as good as the best-looking recently produced TV series shot on the Alexa cameras. Feature quality of production overall, as expected. Can't wait for the return of Arrested Development, which was also shot on the Epics, if memory serves correctly. Congratulations to everyone involved.
