I was wondering if Scarlet-X could support hot swap.

say you have a APU/BACKPACK PLATE that powers your Scarlet with Bricks, but you also have a Side Grip with a RedVolt. If changing a Brick would the RedVolt kick in until the battery is replaced?

this would be handy for timelapse.

i Have 0 experience with it, all i know is that in the epic manual it says that nothing on the camera is hot swapable. and its mentioned several times. Id be afraid to try on mine. lol

Simple answer is yes.

Scarlet supports all the accessories available for EPIC. So if you have the QUAD Battery charger, then you can hot swap between all the batteries - Tim will confirm this as he has tested the module.

If you have a brick powering from the backpack and a REDvolt in the side handle, then you can swap the brick and the side handle will kick in. Wouldn't recommend doing that in the middle of a take but it is hot swappable.

:))
