  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Hot swap options?

BTW on DMC2 you can use the battery belt with the 6pin lemo when you swap batts and you won't loose power...

Yeah, I do that now, but not as elegant as this Blushape module. I might give this one a shot.

one product - Action Products PowerModule - Electra - this is what exactly you should look at.

'The Electra has a very powerful built in buffer battery that can power the camera and accessories for up to 4 minutes (10A). Allowing hot-swap functionality while the camera and accessories keep running. When using standard Anton Bauer/V-Mount batteries – simply push the Electra’s main power button (pwr) before switching to a new battery. The buffer battery is activated. When a new battery is mounted the buffer battery is automatically switched off and recharges.'

Originally designed for Epic/Scarlet but with smart plate you can use it with Weapon too.

Hey Jarek, did you get this Blueshape hot swap? Wondering how you like it or if it's had any issues.

Do you know if this Hot swap will work with DSMC2, wireless video, wireless focus and gimbal with out any power interruption?
The Watt consumption from all the gear is less than 70W. I know it because i power them from the D-tap off the RED DSMC BATTERY BELT CLIP.

I had the Blueshape. Didn’t like it. In particular the vmount mechanism was loose and would disconnect when bumped. Got the Core hotswap. Way better.

If anyone is looking for a Core SWX JetPack EVO for hot swap I have one from a colleague for sale.
The colleague inherited it from buying equipment from a studio that was closing down..

If interested please PM me.
