Hi !
I recently tested the RED at 360 shutter with 1fps. After changing the settings we did a black shading caliberation, and expected a neat footage. What we finally got an image with a lot of hot pixels. Also noticed that the hot pixels were less when we moved on to 4 fps.
- Has someone tried this earlier and what is the solution to this ?
- Does Build 17 help with this issue ?

If this has been discussed earlier can someone send me a link to the thread.
Thanks.

i have heard, (not sure) that rendering at full debayer helps this. You can set in/out points in redalert and do a test (also I recommend clipfinder, great tool!!)

good luck scott

Yes, a full debayer vs. half debayer definitely helps. And no, on long exposure times you can't completely avoid them.
