Could be anywhere in the world today.
I had to bolt down to Melbourne for a quick shoot this morning, I had about a 20 minute window to shoot within before the sun breached the hills.
I stripped the EPIC down to tiny box with just a lens a RED VOLT and a OLED EVF....
The Epic just keeps impressing me the way its designed so I can shoot 5k RAW image resolution @100 FPS in the dark.
Lens used was a simple 16-35mm Canon. Not my favorite lens, but it still yields good results when in a rush.
Im quite fond of my PL glass... but in this case, I decided to stick with a light weight little ZOOM... at the end of the day, I would not have got any better shots with the PL primes.
And I had no time to be swapping out Primes as I had about 30 different angles I wanted to capture... I got 27 of them in the bag.

Just sharing.... :smile5:

Love that Melbourne morning light.
Close up flame shot is my favourite

Thanks

They're all great, but the fourth from the bottom, that's your money shot. Really like that one. Maybe the second from the bottom with the sun peaking over, that might be also. Very nice!

To be honest... Maybe 1 second of one of these shots may go in the TVC... maybe none... We have been shooting for a week and have captured some incredible images for the TVC... these ballon shots were only captured for textures or fillers.
Ill share the final TVC when I edit it next week.
Cheers...

Nice images mark!

is nice to get out there alone once in a while to just shoot. It's a completely different vibe.
