Really impressive, Biba! Looks like a very expensive shot on 35mm.

Yep , but is very cheap and is shoot on RED :) .

Nice work- I love the shot- great timing of the ox crossing frame. :)

Excellent work on the flycam Biba and great shot as well. Although I have a few questions.
I'm curious how the camera was rigged and released in the timeframe if the camera was running on CF cards. (1) How did you manage this in the timeframe on CF cards? (2)Did you boot and record through remote control? (3)What did you use to hold the camera in place before releasing it on the wire?

Thanks Biba. By 'Timeframe' I was referring to the available recording time available on a CF card. However, you answered that question as you used a remote on the camera. As an indie film maker, I am always interested in low cost approaches that produce quality footage as you have done. Would you have a photo of the simple but effective mechanism you used to hold the camera in place before it was released and also a close up of the rig that held the camera to the overhead wire.

Thanks for posting.
I have been looking for a flycam rig for a while, but all commercial stuff is very expensive...
Looks like i'll have to build one myself...
Waiting for the pictures of the rig.
Please list the gear you needed to do this.
Any advise on construction?
