  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

HMI Flicker @ 23.98 w/magnetic ballast HMI's?

Curious,

Does anyone know of a shutter angle, or any way at all, to eliminate magnetic ballast HMI flicker while shooting at 23.98fps?

Shooting 24fps, or using square wave ballasts would be the obvious solutions, but these aren't options in this case.

Using non-square wave (magnetic) ballast HMI's... so I know this makes it harder, but if anyone could shed some light (pun definitely intended) on this, that would be great.
