Hitachi Travelstar 750GB 2.5'' woes

using hitachi travelstar 750GB in a 2.5" red station and having problems where the drive hangs up and i hear a clicking noise like a moth is caught momentarily in the red station. anyone else having issues with 2.5'' hitachi travelstars ?

OR is it the red station? any ideas?

Continuous repetitive clicking noises from any hard drive are a bad sign the drive is about to fail - any brand of hard drive can fail. Avoid turning it off as it may not start again. Backup any important data to another drive as soon as possible and take the ticking drive out of service.
