  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Because the primary aim of Red used to be not this silly 4K stuff, but building the first 100% biodegradable camera system....

After a complete and utter failure at that, (see "RED-Scam") Jim had to come up with a plan B.

I really liked the logo. It reminds me of those old 11" x 14" metal signs advertising everything from motor oil to rifles and shotguns. It had that thirties look.

I think that is a marvelous idea. Ship the special Epics in a retro "Red Digital" wood display case, like the first camera. Neato!

Also, reminds me of one of the first cameras many of us ever made, a shoebox pinhole, so we could learn the basics of photography. Circle of life, and all that.
 
those were fun times... and it's still just as much fun now! (actually even more :-)
 
that's so awesome. do you have any video clips of the wooden box in action and shooting something? for some reason, I'd really love to see that...
