  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

This announcement is very important for me. I believe in Red concept since the first word of it before its release. Even if I don't currently own one. I talk about it to others and try to have it adopted by my fellows from NTDTV, without success yet.

Nice. I was at that point last night. I am just anxious for pricing. I don't have deadlines I am trying to meet as far as production. Just trying to get budgets approved for purchasing, and its kind of hard to get accurate figures based on just the Red One and its available accessories.

I'm guessing an indefinite term. Really don't think they will say, 'January 25th 2010, 8:00am'. Especially with unexpected numbers of people who are prepared to upgrade/purchase. I'm sure there will be a ballpark but even then, you could wait in a line of which is unknown to you in size. It's hard to tell today and will be hard to tell tomorrow. :puke:

Shovel more snow. There's plenty more out there... I had to do half of my big ol' driveway by hand because I went through two sheer pins on my snowblower and didn't have any more in the garage. Hmmm... Maybe I could run out and buy another bag of pins and be back before the announcement. Yep, guess I could get lunch too. Actually, I'm just glad they didn't cancel schools for the third day in a row. I was going insane around here.

Yep. I'm really curious about those electronic lenses and the FF35 and 645 brains. But I'm guessing those things are still a ways down the road.
 
I shovel my mom's ~400 foot driveway a few times every year when I'm around for the holidays. I actually enjoy it. It's a real sense of accomplishment and feels directly productive. Sort of like building a fort.

Is my wife going to really hate me or like me for the growing gear purchases?. Cause everytime I get something , she has to get something. So my $17,500 RED Camera didnt cost me $17,500.. it cost me $35,000 (:nads:in the RED plus burberry purses and some god awful L.V. purse.. ) So come on keep the cost down. Cause I dont forsee myself getting a $4,500 RED-RAM that is really going to cost me $9,000. (well ok it will anyway).

I do have an Idea.. make the Scarlett Camera in Pink and my wife would get one :drool5: too. So I'm patiently awaiting the EpicX and other RED Announcements. :)

My wife is eagerly looking/awaiting at Jims new post today, cause she is gearing up to go shopping. I told her the new RED Announcement is at 3pm PST. So Jim , if your reading this. (try make the announcement "Wife Friendly" cause i am always having to justify cost (not that it has any bearing). - Most of us dont have CEOs or CFOs to answer to.. its our Wives - true story.)

Good day everyone! I think we should plan to have Red Launch Parties like the Win7 Launch parties everyone (jokingly) had. Maybe the party packs could include a Scarlet and some RED-branded napkins??? :)
