I am trying to get Octo with double motors like yours for total of 16 driven by three independent voting systems.

Wow..16 motors..how much weight could such a system lift..?

I fly an x8 configuration. I like it because you have 4 booms instead of 8, so you have a smaller footprint, and less weight, and you have all of the redundancy. I have lost a motor and you can barely tell it's gone. A little twitch and then it's back to normal.

Or Y6, like mine. Totally redundant (and I've tested it). But yea, Flat hexa has no redundancy at all.

Agreed! Y6 is a cool setup too. Is that a Wookong-M FC Antenna? If so, how do you like it?

interesting....sure shows the market. wow. My quad is well and working, just got GPS on it for position hold and "return to home" pretty nifty...fly a long shot way out you can't see? just hit a button and it "returns to home"
