There is probably already a thread for this film but this trailer just showed up so I thought I would share. Looks interesting plus I like JGL. Rainn looks like he is switching things up and of course Natalie is in it so it could be good.

Shot on Red of course.

this was shot awhile ago. check out the directors short 'i love sarah jane' its very cool. looking forward to this hits cinemas may 13th

Mr. Mike Seymour and the FXPHD crew helped out on Sarah Jane, he may be a bit busy now but he may have more info. Looks promising!

those guys have made some great shorts and features now also with animal kingdom, hesher, the square.

All I know is that it was anamorphic but I don't know the lenses. Probably Hawk or Panavision.

Animal Kingdom is an amazing film. And Joseph Gorden Levitt is a really great actor.
I've been looking forward to this film for a long time now!

I'm so mad this movie got such a limited release... The only theater playing this near me is an hour away in some small indie theater... Woulda thought with Natalie Portman and Joseph Gorden-Levitt it would have been a bigger release. Anyone else having trouble finding a theater playing it?

I heard it was shot on old Hawk anamorphic lenses in case anyone was still interested. They also mostly shot wide open or 1 stop closed from open.
