HERE BE DRAGONS - a 6K screening event in Melbourne Australia

[Cail Young]

We got our first Dragon in June and thought it would be neat to commission some shorts to show to people. Then we thought it would be neat to screen those shorts in 4K. Then we thought it would be really neat to do a live grade demo in the same room.

Was a very informative event - this was just before the DEB system was sent out as beta so bear that in mind with the discussion of shadow noise.

Any questions about the event, fire away!

I was fortunate to attend this lovely presentation. Great people, great beers! As Cail says it was informative to see three DoPs tackle the sensor and present their work in collaboration with a single colourist.
